This is a cake I made long time ago. It's a chocolate cake with caramel filling and I covered it with Italian meringue.

More Wedding Cakes...=]

These were made from fruit cake. My oven was switched for almost the whole day! lol. The flowers were made in advance in order to get them to dry in time and the colours were chosen by the bride.. The cupcakes I made had white, yellow and green design on them. There were 150 of them!

And here is my nephew with his 2nd birthday cake, the whole family helped bring food and celebrate.

Most of the party decorations are taken for my shop, Party Magic. For the cupcakes, I printed out his favourite characters from Cars The Movie on edible paper and mounted them on the cupcake that was topped with icing. I also printed out his face and other photos.

Thanks to http://www.anniesartbook.com/ for the tutorial of the car for the cake. It helped a lot! =]

However, the car was made from madeira cake not from plastic icing as I found it very hard to mould!

To join everything that we had done that day, I made my special black forest cake, and it sure topped it all!
And here is my nephew 2

Hello everybody! =]

I started in this business in my teens. I baked at home for too many years until I got my shop here in Francistown, Botswana. This shop is my dream come true! Hopefully now I can show everybody my wonderful creations...

Here are a couple of photos of my first cakes:

These where cakes that I made for my nephew on his 1st birthday last year. The photo on the top left is a teddy bear made of plastic icing on top of a piece of Madeira cake. The cake is wrapped in plastic icing as well to resemble a little gift bag with sweets for the kids. I surrounded the teddy bear with Smarties and lollipops. These where given to the children when the went home.
The soccer ball was a chocolate cake decorated with royal icing and plastic icing on the bottom. This took me quite along time to do but it was very enjoyable!
And finally, the Winnie the Pooh cake was made from the mould and it was chocolate. I basically decorated it the same way that I decorated the soccer ball cake- with the piping bag and a fine point. At the bottom, I spelt His name, Amaan, with plastic icing.
